"Clear side repeaters". Feckin Barry boy.

No pics of mine I'm afraid. It's like this but shabbier:

Nah, it would have to have Lexus-style rears or 18s to go Barry, it's a sleeper with some minor updating. :)

But better Barry than wide any day :p

and a car but that's dull

Me too - I bet my neighbours are a bit pissed off - sometimes I don't drive it for 2 weeks at a time ... costs 10 quid a week just to keep it on the road ... but good to have it this time of year to get to a beach ....

Thinking about getting one of these too

This is very similar to my little Trundle.

BTW Question: How can you tell someone who owns a Series II or Series III Land Rover?

Answer: Their motoring conversations always start with 'Well, I was overtaking this milkfloat on the A40'

sorry you'll have to click for to see my iron horse

:) Tangerinedream's lean green machine. :)

My bike is a Diamondback Ascent Ex (1988 I think) - It's got an LX group set and new bars, stem, seatpost and seat in recent years. It currently requires a new headset, front mech and rear brakes (right hand cantilever is fucked.) I am currently commuting without the use of back brakes

I am prepared to spend at least £100 on it this summer to get it right again - I can't imagine riding anything else - It's a lovely bike and when it's 'tuned' it rides like a dream.

I've sprayed it my self - It used to be black and dayglo pink.

It got nicked once but I got it back!

It's been all over the place and hopefully will go many more places :)

Lots of nice looking bikes on here - my covetous nature is almost getting the better of me, even though I'd probably use it as a clothes airer.

Get yrself a decent one second hand - you can pick up a decent bike for £150 that will wipe the floor with anything you buy from halfords. Or look at a decent bike shop. Edinburgh Cycle is brilliant. Go out and ride it and you will feel happy. It's that simple. I can think of few times I am happy as riding my bike.

me :( me on bike :)

Surely an R1's a bit tame ( :D ) after the highabuser?

;) I'd be shitting meself on either...

You'd think that wouldn't ya,

The R1's a shedload more fun.

Yes the busa was wicked mate but she had to go cos. . . lets just say I was a very naughty boy and got off very lightly in comparison :D

So its more fun on the R1 at lower speeds ;)

I got one of these, same colour and everything but not this actual car

lower speeds my fat arse!

Don't get me wrong , I loved the busa as she had more room at back but the R1 is a nippy little bird and can handle it when bombscare decides to take off humpback bridges doing over a ton with me standing on the back pegs to keep myself on the bike!

motorbikes are  , I used to ride pillion all the time when I was a sprog.

'Busas are shockingly cool, but I can see why the urge to do a ton on your way to the shops would be so strong...
