bullshit cracka! Fruit has become univeralised to relate to big jesseness across all sexualities and genders.
Even downloading this film on bittorent was a waste of time. If ignore the american obsession with their nationalism if ignore rambo being a 61 old man with more plastic sugery than micheal jackson and if ignore the body counts then it is a pale reflection on the original rambo film. In the orginal no one died but 3 films later old mad dog rambo is on a killing spree that makes no sense. Well only to hollywood.

Possibly the best film ever made. The extreme violence was satisfactory. The number of killings was great enough to earn it 5 star status on points alone. There was a commendable amount of head, limb and throat chopping. Numerous people were cut in half with gigantic machine guns. Obligatory sniper stuff was very well done. I was saddened by the absence of silenced weapons. No bombs were defused and no helicopters exploded. There are plenty of gigantic explosions. Scenes were reminiscent of the jungle bits of Metal gear Solid 3 and the more country side-esque parts of COD4. But all of it was quintessentially Rambo. There hasn't been a film made like this since the 80's. Despite the body count and sheer ridiculousness of it all it managed to suspend disbelief in a most entertaining way, unlike Commando or Rambo 3 (which are both still awesome). And it doesn't pussy out on the violence, although I can't help thinking that the guy who gets his throat ripped out had his scene cut - by the BBFC? All in all a thoroughly enjoyable watch and highly recommended.

I saw the uncut workprint version of it so I got all teh gore and there was no close ups of the throat being ripped out

Just watched it, great movie, exactly what you'd expect from a rambo movie.
I don't know. We can say "What can you expect from a rambo film" but the first one is deceptively good. It's a taut psychological thriller. After that they turned to shash.

First Blood was seriously a great film. I only recently found out it's adapted from a novel. The other two are just dumb fun but classic action movies nevertheless.
This, on the other hand, was just fucking garbage. I wish someone had warned me. I know you don't watch a film like this wanting or expecting a sophisticated plot but I didn't realise it was going to be so one-dimensional and pedestrian that it played out like a children's book! The other films had love and betrayal and ham fisted political rhetoric. It was all corny as hell but at least it was entertaining. This was just shit. When it finished I couldn't believe that was really it. Didn't Stallone write this rubbish? He must be fucking stupid. And he was surprised no one wanted to fund it? Take a fucking hint! Jesus, what a load of old shit.
