AAAAHHH i have one of the original presses of Angel of Theft by Player (Amon Tobin)
They did do a repress of it but all the copies were badly warped, even so they were selling in actual record shops (the hardstore for instance) for £30!!
Can't remember what i paid for mine but i got it off the ninjatune record shop pretty much as soon as it came out, found out where to get it after i pestered Alex B countless times at Sick n Twisted, since he pretty much always played it as one of the final tunes in his set.
Absolutely gorgeous one-sided clear red vinyl with a massive pentagram carved into the flip side
dunno bout the comparisons with ST tho, ST were a brilliant hardcore punk band for their first album and then a so-so metal (or skate-metal) band - a comparison with anthrax would be closer to the mark no?
May i direct you all to the hardstore since they have some of those warped represses left for £30, although the comment does say they actually play fine.
