Got to be carfeul with Renton though mate - he's always looking for an angle to press home that the ANL/UAF method is the only non-elitist and effective anti-fascist srtrategy, despite it being pro-staus quo.
Renton's essay on anti-fascism in Against the Grain produced by Manchester University is so utterly bent, it is is impossible to critique. It is sloppy, inaccurate, and sectarian. Rather than bother to 'look for angles' he simply creates them. Nor does he confine himself to making stuff up; contrary facts are also deleted lest they should interfere with the desired political outcome.
Rather than merely being "careful" the fact is, nothing Renton writes on the issue of anti-fascism can be taken at face value.
