The Victoria is faster than the Northern getting up and the central line quick going through to Bank...the change at Bank is pretty crap...and it's also usually loaded with people going just one more stop to Liverpool Street which makes getting on the train a tricky situation...

I think Victoria and Central would easily be the most comfortable way to do it on the tube and be close to the fastest tube route...

Including pregnant women, then?

Is there something about pregnant women which means they get in my way?

Do they necessarily carry large luggage that hits other people but is so padded they don't notice?

Do they wander around tunnels on the tube in large groups in the wrong direction?

Or stand on the wrong side of the escalator?

Well pregnant women are sometimes quite large which means they probably are more likely to get in your way than a drawf would.

If they've just been shopping for the forthcoming junior thay may have some big Mothercare bags with them!

And they do tend to tend to wander rather than run or jog or walk briskly for obvious reasons...

And is it only tourists who stand on the wrong side of escaltors these days?

Many tourists complain about London and how rude and unfriendly Londoners are. I really don't think you should push tourists out of the way any more than you should push others out of the way... Are tourists inferior in some way? And many of these tourists will be fellow Londoners setting off to be tourists somewhere else, on their way to LHR or LGW...

Is your job so important you have to trample over others to get there each day?

That type of comment really pisses me off  How many people living in London are born and bred Londoners. Half of these "rude and unfriendly Londoners" that tourists speak of aren't even from London :(

Yeah, it's really polite and friendly for people to get in the way of others to begin with isn't it...

Tourists (or in fact anyone) can use the tube in a way that isn't going to be obstructive, it's entirely possibly and not especially difficult.
