Tbf, Ann has stated the position i.e. the entitlement when you don't get a rest break between shifts that complies with the WTR is "compensatory rest" - not compensatory pay. However, the WTR rules on rest breaks and compensatory rest can be modified by a "workforce agreement" - which I guess is what is in place courtesy of BECTU.
