I've just bought a pair of boots from Scholl. Everything is in the sale and being sensible, granny-ish people they're not keen on heels.

But my god they have some seriously cool stuff in there - it was a revelation, honestly  50% of it you wouldn't be seen dead in, but the other 50% is well worth a look.
cool thanks.

ba prefers these

actually. not that i care about that... :) but they are cheaper. i will investigate & no doubt get back to you all at a later date. many thanks for your time, dedication, commitment & patience.

(I'm assuming tastebud means work here). I'm assuming she's not forking out for the real ones - they're pretty expensive they are.
yeah but i mostly wear jeans and converse to work. i wanted to go up just a tiny notch in the smart department but also be able to wear them with skirts, under jeans, over jeans... casually & that.

does anyone fancy going to the shops for me? :)

£59.99 from schuh if i recall correctly

think i'll go for the other (more pricey ones  ) though....

No.2 on the basis that No.1 are ugg-a-likes and too subject to the vagueries of fashion to be a decent wardrobe staple.

Unless you really don't care about such things (in which case why would you be asking our opinion anyway?)

I can't tell if they are reddish or brownish - reddish would be better. Red shoes is cool.

I'm going to this

store after work. Where the shoes are kept :)
Has anyone used this store before? For purchases I mean :)

Definitely buy number two, one are ugg boot hideousity.
But then again, suede always goes mucky. I've been trying to find the perfect boot for 4 years!

Both of the OP's boots are utterly horrible. I'm a big boot person (in either sense of the phrase :o ) myself & having to be around those for any length of time would give me nightmares at the very least!

Of the OP pics I prefer 2, but tbh I prefer these which I bought in 'Dam at the beginning of the month :)

I have bought a pair of leather mary janes from there once. They were pretty expensive but they lasted me fucking ages and the do up was the thing that went in the end, not the upper or the sole so I would say they were well made. I put those shoes through hell :(

For the record every boot on this thread would get the thumbs down from me. Especially the panto ones.

I got my Birkenstocks there (the unfashionable but comfortable kind that are often associated with sock wearing Germans as opposed to the ones that became fashionable a few years ago). I've had them years and expect to have them many more.

Yes, that's a lot of the reason I bought them, I don't really like the calf height ones, but couldn't get anything I could afford(in the UK) for years!!
Happy now though :D

I like one best, but 2 would look better with skirts IMO.

Rollem, I don't know you but whereas the 2nd boot you pictured are lovely, the black ones give me the fear. Not in a good way. In an 80's glam metal way. I would run away from those boots.
Soz for cheek.

I missed this thread.....

I prefer # 2 (I can see you in them) but I think they're both a bit too uggalicious + they'll get wet!

You need boots like mine

i didn't get either. couldn't face shopping. i might get a digital camera though :)

if i do get boots, i'll prolly just stick to what i know: either diesel or miss sixty.
