Quick font decision. Help!

    Probably looking for an impossible compromise.

    I need something reflecting 18th Century Lisbon, but with a fresh, contemporary feel.

    Go now, before I bastardise Arial, or Helvetica.

    Image search "modern serif font".

    Lots of options there. I like Didot but I'm partial to minimal fonts - there are some more artsy, flamboyant options too.

    Although that looks so much like the Vogue masthead that I'd avoid like the plague if you want to use block capitals.
