Quadrophenia sequel is being made, 37 years after the original

This sounds horrendous. I love the film and album, I do have a thing for working class Londoners portrayed well on film -and not the caricatures of Mike Leigh's albeit excellent films, or the utter shit Nick Love turns up regularly.

Never go back, that's my view. Has it ever worked?

Echoing above really, one of the greatest, if not the greatest album ever. One of the greatest ever films, both of which can draw tears the days. A sequel is just cashing in for the sake of cashing in. It will certainly not take us to further places than the original, it's not possible. If anything it will tarnish the original and our fondness for it.
Anyone join me at Beachy Head, or was it the seven sisters just outta Brighton

The only joy in this would be Sting as a bellhop :D
