QPR: Richest club in the world

Doesn't always work out though. When we got Mandaric everyone was convinced the good times would roll. A year later and we've bought about 67 shite players and gone through 7 managers. We're still shit. Money isn't everything.

Not quite the same level of wealth really though is it?

No, not even close, but still.. £30m means a fuck of a lot to a Championship club, yet it's failed to give us anything of note. Team is still shit, same position in the league. Yawn!

On the one hand, I am happy for Rollem and my QPR family/friends.

On the other hand, they don't know what may happen to their club. Suddenly a whole new breed will start to support them - Revol68 and Drink etc - the glory hunting bastards! ;)

I don'tt hink we should jump to conclusions about the players they're buying atm, they can't expect to attract the top players yet can they? They're just building a foundation first, then they can start moving up. QPR fans just be happy you aren't in lutons position!!

Oh come on you lot! QPR have been in Luton's position for a while now, crippled by debt, mis managed by crooks, etc etc.

Don't begrudge them a little bit of success/hope.

and im just saying hogan empherim( i will spell that differently evertime) is a bit shite.

I look foward to seeing a renault f1 car in qpr colours next silverstone gp.

and believe me, we are.

in adminstration, threatened with it three times, dodgy loans taken out from dodgy geezas in panama, repayments at a million quid a time, guns in the boardroom....we are counting our blessing at the moment, make no mistake

OK, the business plan, Bernie is reknown for a deal, if he can see a profit in the deal, he is in... Flavio, very similar, loves the high life, a reporter asked about the very expesive coat he was wearing, Flavio's reply, "It's for billionaires" ...
Mittal, shrewd, very hard business man, buys and sells steel plants as though they were monopoly cards, but makes bundles of money and, important .. lives locally..very well connected, Tony Blair gave him a reference to purchase a balkan steel mill.

now, football takes part during the Formula One close season... gives the guys some sport... now all of these guys like sucess, however you package it, dress it up or call it....

Also, they can invite all the different business associates to ' their ' football club..

So, best course of action, move the club, build new stadium, with necessary sponsorship, similar to Arsenal 'Emirates Staduim' build luxury dwellings on the present site and sell for a kin fortune..... then invest in players and enjoy the success.

have you ever been to loftus road / experienced the surrounding area? luxury flats might not fit so well :D

other than that, your plan scarily sounds plausible :(

you're a rich man's plaything (and I'm not talking about relahni.) Doesn't matter though, everybody is these days. At least yours are proper 70s playboy rich men.

That's true, at last QPR's made their money when a disco was a disco.

The thing about billionaires in football, I find, is that they expect a return on the asset, not via the income - Al Fayed at Fulham, the Icelandics at Wet Sham, Joe Lewis at Spurs, the Yanks at Liverpool, Manu, Villa, etc, etc, etc - I know Lewis has doubled the stock market value of Spurs in 15 months, and has broken even on transfer dealings (untilt he last window) over the past five years.

Never put a single penny of his own money on the line.

So who've you bought?

Of note, we have Steve Howard and Matt Oakley from Derby, very pleased with those. 2 young Hungarian wingers who sound promising, and Isiah Osbourne from Villa. Also got Ben Alnwick from Spurs - looks a decent keeper.

Patrick Agyemang from PrestonNE , Hogan Ephraim from West Ham, Akos Buzsaky from Plymouth, Matthew Connolly from Arsenal, Gavin Mahon from Watford, Kieran Lee on loan from Man Utd, Fitz Hall from Wigan, and Rowan Vine from Birmingham City...

Queens Park Rangers are set to announce the signing of Argentinian midfielder Sebastian Rusculleda within the next 24 hours.
who? :D

Fulham and QPR are being linked with ambitious moves to try and sign Luis Figo from Inter Milan this month.

Whether or not the former Barcelona and Real Madrid star would be willing to swap a title push in Serie A - league leaders Inter are currently seven points ahead of Roma - for a relegation battle in the Premier League remains to be seen.

But the chance to become the focus of the R's push for an unlikely play-off place in the Championship might appeal to the 35-year-old veteran

LMFAO  :D

its bloody ridiculous. still finding it funny though

and we've always been fashionable you know ;)
