Q. How shit are Man Shitty?

nice one city. continuing the tradition of sacking managers who have given you your best season in years.

fucking idiots

No, Sven said, in response to a question about why he couldn't get England to play as well as City 'With England, I didn't have a player like Elano'. The implication being that he was better than any English player.

or that Elano brings different qualities to his side than players available to him with England.

this does not imply 'better'

I don't get it...

Football clubs just want to blame people for short term results rather than build for the future.

9th in this Premiership is not a poor result by any means!
If they have a good last two results they could end up 8th, 7th or possibly 6th!

That is a GOOD result in my opinion

^ The chairman gave him loads of money so i can see where he's coming from, especially given the reputation of sven, the chairman probably had the wrong expectations from the start. Some city fans are threatening not to renew their season tickets of sven is sacked.

ah but mr serial human rights abuser has a masterplan which involves the UEFA Cup next year and the Champions League after that. He spent hours on this masterplan and used up an entire beermat writing it down so he can't let a noob like Svennis ruin it all

Newcastle Fan Sees Where Idiot Chairman Is Coming From When Creating Managerial Instability Through Overly Ambitious Expectations SHOCKA!

Thaksin = Peter Swales with a cattle prod.

Seriously tho, what a life it is to be Svennis. Another huge payoff, reputation enhanced. Sweet.

Money does not fix things in one season though

1. Spend the money
2. Let the players settle and begin working as a team
3. Results will improve

Ferguson has been at the Utd helm since 1986 and has made them the most successful club during this period. During his first season they finished 11th place in the league (2 lower than City this season) but he was not sacked. How are United doing this season?

I know it doesn't, but you know this chairman knows fuck all about football, and thinks that loads of money will change things around to the point of him winning the league in the first season, thats what im on about.

Third crazy sacking of the season that I can think of. This one is the craziest, imo.

Sven won't manage in England again, I'll bet.

Aye and to be fair he is. But that's no achievement.

Yes he did give him lots of money but Shinawatra dallied so much on the takeover and the appointment of a manager that Sven got his job relatively late into the close season and had to dive into the transfer market after other clubs had taken their picks.
Still, the trio of Corluka, Petrov and Elano was good business. Geovanni on a free made sense too and Gelson was quite cheap iirc.
He was damn unlucky with Boijonov and Castillo picking up injuries after just a few minutes on the pitch.
Bianchi was a mistake and Benjani a panic buy but had to be done as we had no strikers.
Overall not a bad bit of transfer dealing by Sven and lets not forget the progress of Hart, Richards, Johnson and others.
In short, I think Citeh overachieved in the first half of the season.

Agreed. Sina-twat-ra will live to regret this decision. Citeh fans had better start hoping that he gets arrested next time he goes back to Thailand.

No chance of that :D Astonishing really. I was down there when he was ousted and you'd have thought there was gonna be a lynching. Now he seems to come and go as he wishes. Sometimes with City bit-part players in tow.

I feel for City supporters in a way. Which is hard coming from a lifelong United fan. But fuck - trying to keep the faith when you're owned by such a cunt must be pretty difficult.

What did Dr Death Squad expect? To win the premier league?

I doubt anyone can do much better in one season.
