@ stevenriseley I understand you want to do something different for the xmas menu than your usual vegetarian sausages or nut roast (for the veg options) but risotto isnt exactly... christmassy. If you were doing the veg sausages (always delicious!) then I think we would definitely be there on the 25th, even if it was costing a bit more than usual. I really like your pub, but risotto aint doing it for us...

I'm gonna pop in the white hart on xmas day to be among the poor and shameless. It gives me that dickensian experience oft lost on the streets of London.

Between the mad and the moody I shall drink stale ale and eat old crisps while those about me re-live a time when smoking in pubs was still a national past time and wearing a suit on Christmas day was considered the thing to do.
