pubs open on xmas day ??

the cambria is open but dinner is 50 quid.
the windmill is open at 7pm, music and drinking.
trying to find another spot where its slightly less expensive, and a vegan option.
 
I think I'll be home about 6 or 7 but hendo won't finish until 9. Drinks and dimsum at mine if the pubs aren't open? (I reckon the hubbie is speaking the truth.)
 
Strada in my local town is open on Xmas Day for food, which i was a bit wtf at.

my local is open for xmas lunch. £40 a head and its booked out.
 
A few places are open for both.
The Richard the First in Greenwich is open from 12 to 3 and then from 7 until 10.
Their dinner menu is 40 quid though.
 
the Cambria is open for Xmas day lunch, or just for a drink, but will close around 6pm, 3 course lunch is £50 including a glass of champagne on arrival ;-))

Lunch is served from 12 noon.​

*Wild mushrooms & tarragon, w/ brioche & balsamic reduction​
*Tiger prawns, roasted in garlic butter w/ sesame dressed celeriac coleslaw & Thai basil puree​

*Roast goose & turkey w/ roast potatoes, honey roast chantaney carrots, red cabbage, broccoli, wild boar & sage stuffing, yorkshire pudding, a red wine jus & cranberry sauce​
*Roast salmon fillet w/ truffle oil mash, honey roast chantaney carrots, braised fennel, broccoli, & water cress & prosecco sauce​

The Xmas day menu is £50 per person including a glass of Champagne on arrival(Children under 12 years old £25.00, you are welcome to bring baby foods for very young or call us to discuss arrangements and pricing for other circumstances).​
