Wicked gig. Dr Octagon was well good too. The dubstep dj interlude had my nose hairs tingling so much with the b-line that I had to keep rubbing my hooter, which was well difficult with two pints in my hands, must have look a right div. Top night.

Missed Dr Octagon but PE were awesome, always been one of my favourite groups but I'd never managed to see them live before but it exceeded my expectations. The crowd was mad for it!

That was insanely good - although our spot right in the middle down the front got a bit too much for me around 2/3 of PE's set and had to step back a bit.

My ears were fucked afterwards. PE were amazing, seen them a few times and that was the best yet. Still think Black Steel should be done a la album instead of with live instrumentation, but that was my only gripe. Missed Kool Keith and Edan - did KK do all the UM classics?

Flav was hilarious, you could see Chuck just despairing every time he went off on one cause of the curfew. Best bit was at the end of Mind Terrorist when Flav thought he'd finished and Chuck turns to him and says "What about Bass For Your Face London?".

And I saw some poor fucker get thrown out 5 mins before they came on for smoking a cig.

Supposedly bomb squad played a dubstep set at Mass last night - also supposedly dubstep is big out in NY right now - i know dubstepFM on the net seems to be bare american djs - would be nice if underground uk finally managed to get the US into something -
