Public Enemy to perform 'It Takes A Nation...' in it's entirety!

A top idea, considering the album's timeless quality - and that quality of hip hop could be done with revisiting now more than ever. Even so, I reckon 'Fear Of A Black Planet' has the upper hand as far as PE albums go...

I can't wait for this. I know someone who recently interviewed Hank Shocklee (who's massively into his dubstep apparently) and PE are finding it pretty difficult to rehearse all the interludes and live bits, never having done them before. Should be interesting. The only downer is that Party For Your Right To Fight (least favourite on the album) will be last song of the night (unless they surprise us with a Fight The Power encore *crosses fingers*).

At these kinda gigs there's often an encore of the groups other hits from other albums

Got tickets for Cambridge at the Junction. Anyone ever been there? Near to town? Probably gonna stay overnight in Cambridge.

*bump*

I don't suppose anyone has any ideas of set times, or if it's Kool Keith or Dr Octogon? (I know they are the same person, but it'd be different stuff, eh?)

I was seriously thinking of doing that to avoid going to the Academy again.

But then braindancer's tickets came up. :)

PE played Bristol last night...

Sadly, I didn't get to go, but by all reports they lived up to all expectations. No Edan or Kool Keith support at this one (-hence the cheaper ticket price?), but apparently The Bomb Squad unleashed some decent dubstep during the evening.

Enjoy the show when it comes to your town, you lucky bastards. :)

I have passed mine to Deadmanwalking but Onket has a spare I think. Onket?

I will PM him and send him a text. :)

Not 100% sure. Been let down by my original guest & just offered it to someone else but not had a reply yet.

If onkets spare does not get used then Chico will have that, otherwise chico enrico will have yours, we will get it all sorted don't fret. :)
