Pub on the Park London Fields drink up

Or London Fields overline or Hackney Central... So much choice :D
London Fields overland is great if you can get it, but only seems to run one train every third day or something.

and 38 runs down whatever that road is called about 3 blocks north.

we're probably coming to this, walking though. :)

Right from Highbury and Islington you get the 277 bus. Get off second stop on Graham Rd then walk up either Greenwood or Navarino Road to the park then you will see the pub across the park :)

Vixen get the tube to H&I and do the same :)

you forgott the overland which stops at london fields ... get the enfield town train from Liverpool street get the 15 past or the 45 past trains which stop at Lodnon fields... walk under the bridge and follow the park round...

why not get the overground train?

My Oyster is not in Travelcard form so wouldn't cover it, although Stig's is and does, so maybe ... it'll be cheap anyway.

In any case, the 26 sounds good, and it gors back to Waterloo for going home, as well :)

Thanks for help, see you on Friday ...

I didn't think any of the stations on that train line had barriers apart from Liverpool St and Seven Sisters... ;)

I can't remember how much a paper ticket from liverpool st is, though I think it's about £3. I can see why buses are a far more attractive prospect.

Might want to check that out from someone who has been there recently
though.

liverpool st does have barriers :( sometimes they don't work though, hoorah!!

I find that they mostly leave their barriers open after a certain time, though I wouldn't bet on it. I just pay for my ticket nowadays. I'm a respectable member of the community and all that :p

Yep the 26 and 48 will drop you at Mare Street.. One turns off so make sure you get off the bus whilst still on Mare Street.. It is also very quick from Liverpool Street :)

it's also not too far to walk from Kingsland Road... 243 or 149 from Liverpool Street, get off at the Middleton Road stop and walk down Middleton Road till you get to London Fields.
