Ps3 Or Xbox360??

As in all of these things, its what Meth Lab wants in a console, rather than any of us. Does he want a Wii for quick fun and games, a Xbox for a wide variety of games and a traditional control system, or a PS3 for its media center/gaming abilities. Its really what he wants, rather than which is "best" from an arbitrary point of view...

Get all 3. Makes the decision easier

Not got an Xbox yet but will do around Xmas.

Because it takes time to develop games, espcially if they're for a completely new system. IMO the Xbox is a solid gaming system but once the PS3 gets into its stride you'll seem some really good games for it...

The Xbox is basically an updated PC in a fancy box...

Yea thats what i reckon... once the programmers figure out how to 'use' the ps3 technology to its best potential i reckon (just guessing) that its gonna piss all over the 360...

I think im gonna go for the ps3, if anything simply coz i hate microsoft with a passion (windows init lol) and like the 'media centre' idea of the ps3. (and i simply MUST have GT-5)

BUT, whats all this about ps2 games not being compatable with the ps3?? this true?? has sony done a commodore amiga on us here??? lol

I had a 360, swapped it for a Wii 'cos my laptop plays most Xbox games.

Much preferred the 360, but the Wii is a lot of fun after the pub with a couple of mates.

plus you have to pay to use online which is wack

I dunno bout the crowd you would meet on ps3 cos of the price, the xbox has a die hard crew who know nothing about the origins of online gaming and as such can be fun to interact with. They are just guys like you meet in pub sat round the tv set playing games.

Xbos live is great but the console has huge reliability issues.

Iron them out and I'm in for deffo

The hardware isn't miles apart though, where are you getting that from? In fact, when it comes to certain graphical capabilities, the 360 wins.

Of course he should get what he wants, they're much of a muchnes really. It just tickled me that everyone asaid get a 360, and he went "hmm, I'll get a 360".

Haha A mate of mine was round playing WarioWare, had to do the mohawk to dodge the astroid and jumped straight into the wall. Never seen anything quite like it. He was nearly horizontal
