Proper football grounds that survive (terrace porn)

Where, at Cathkin? If so  From the pics it looks like the pitch is effectively still there.

IIRC from a momentary glimpse of a flyer, yes. The pitch is most certainly still there, in better condition than some SPL pitches too! (Tannadice's beach certainly springs to mind)

ALDERSHOT!

Tonight, 2-0 down against Crystal Palace, in a friendly, and still managed to sing "RED AND BLUE BARMY ARMY" for 20 minutes straight. Even a few lads from Colchester's ultras group were impressed :D

great picture here from 1999

now thats what i call a proper terrace

I wouldn't call it a proper terrace - it's fucking tiny. Here's Colchester's away end. The photo's taken from near the back. It was still great to be on a terrace for the first time in years.

The South Bank Molineux where I fell in love with Wolverhampton Wanderers...sadly the old girl has all changed

Star Dove-

Yeah, it's sad that this is what it has come to. Even Barnet was great to be at the other week. Apart from the result etc.

Awesome awesome thread. I have a couple fo stadiums to show you all. Where can I put the pics so that I can hotlink to the thread? (I think that's what I'm trying to ask)

i know some of these pics are not really grounds that survive anymore, but here are a few pictures of Rovers' old ground at Eastville...

Great day that, we won 2-1 I think and effectively sealed our safety. We took about 3,000 up there including a group dressed as the Spice Girls (one of whom is not unknown on this here message board) :D

*sends pics of Croke Park to idiot politicians who refuse to consider changing the law*

stop degrading us with pictures of people watching subhuman games.

Gaelic football maybe but not Hurling at any rate. Makes the likes of Rooney and Roy Keane look like wee fairies, plus a lot faster, rougher, more skillful and more enjoyable overall.

A muck savages game, keep it for your bogs instead of bringing it up to belfast.

And hurling isn't a sport it's a punishment beating between goalposts.

You're ignorance knows no bounds, hurling is actually very popular in Belfast and Antrim is and has always been the strongest hurling county in Ulster. Booyakasha! Oh it is a sport and if you perfect the skill, can be very safe. :)

I'm proud to be a Culchie, nothing wrong with that. Now where's me spuds!

it's popular with super chucks and antrim cultchies, y'know the ones not on the east antrim coast or past Larne.

What, teams like Cushendal and Loughiel Shamrocks? Nah, they're not situated on the East coast of Antrim or past Larne...surely not!
