FYI I live a 50 minute car journey away, about about 1 hour 20 or more by public transport to newcastle and the projectile venue.
I do not go into Newcastle often at all. I am in Sunderland far more. And Boro hardly ever.

Here's an agenda item.
It's a perennial problem with Projectile that they don't answer emails. They seem content - Ryanair style - to leave it to the website to answer any queries. And it doesn't.
We'll try again next year.

what frampton, what did you want to tell projectile? I got emails from then on all kinds of things (mostly about speakers and movies) and i live in london. Can't be that hard to get hold of them surely?

I never said it was a critique of Projectile btw. I haven't got a clue what was going on with the decision making process, what I was 'kicked out for' or anything, there were no rules and they made up boundaries as they went along. you will all like this bit, after mucho agonising i was issued a yellow card, for what I wasn't told - then without my doing anything else they issued the red!! I could broadcast more incompetance but I won't at this point.
I am calling it as I see it - i was never part of your group. 'Constant abuse and disruption' - given the constantly shit decisions you were making what do you expect (this is all done via email btw).
Originally I asked for a Mayday meeting via email, they said 'no' at a meeting cos 'it would be unfair to other magazines' -and you expect me NOT to get upset at that shit politics?????
It would be more of a surprise if I tolerated that rubbish - I told you this over email and you know it. I tried to keep it from public airing to stop this sort of pointless point scoring ahead of the event, but I will put my point of view across as you are having a go at me.... It was excellent, especially the films about the Zapatista's health service, The Japanese Anarchist sword fighting film (Lady Snowblood) the weird gay german terrorist porn film, the roundtable discussion on community organising with people from Glasgow Praxis, HSG, LCAP, and the IWCA and getting to have a proper chat with Dave Douglas.
And of course the people, the venue, and the geordies.

Sounds terrific, sorry I didn't make it this year (been twice before, and both times they were excellent) but I had tickets for the Scottish FA Cup Final. Assuming Queen of the South go another 89 years until their next FA Cup Final appearance I hope to make it to the next one (so I trust the recuperative curry worked).
