I don't think the stench will put people off, especially the dodgier people to the East of Europe who want to by Western credibility through sport.

Maybe they could become the Urban75 team. I'm sure there's £15million a year spare in the server fund.
That wouldn't get you much more than Froome, Thomas, Kwiato, Bernal, a mechanic and a transit van that Brailsford would have to drive himself.

I could see Red Bull stepping in. They have a presence around cycling of various types anyway, they’re a global brand, plus they clearly have the money available.

Talking of sponsors...

McLaren have just announced that they are going to be a 50% owner of Bahrain Merida, with title sponsorship likely in 2020. They are also going to be working with Merida on bike development.

Seems an obvious partnership really, access to the cutting edge carbon tech they have, wind tunnels etc

So has that kid Ivan Sosa who reneged on his contract with Trek actually signed with Sky? Formal announcements were expected weeks ago but I don;t think Sky have made it official yet. Would be funny if he had to ride pro-conti again next season.

Riding a Brompton with a power meter.
Sir "Dave" Brailsford will probably wash ashore at of one the Middle East owned teams who will be keen for him to repeat his alchemy.

Just got Eurosport Player for 1p a month for the nest six months through Amazon Prime. £6.99 a month after but I'll be stopping it after the Classics. Just thought it was a good deal to share for those who have Prime.

That Merckx bike looks awful. The front and rear wheels don’t match, the top tube looks like a banana, someone has sat in the seat stays, and it has rim brakes. Rubbish :p
