prius - yay or nay?

The new new 2009 Honda Insight is out now and taking the Japanese by storm - first hybrid car to top the new car sales in Japan[1]!

i've heard of that one, but haven't looked at it... it looks nicer than the prius but its got 101 carbondioxides while the prius has 89.

Innit, even at granny pace of 9mph you're talking a 20 min ride. I'd do it in just over 10 and i'm not very quick.

If you don't get a CC exempt car then a bike for use in the summer or nice days would be worth a look.

Yeah, give it a try; 3 miles is hardly anything and it's an easy route... I'm not usually an evangelist about these things, but I'm surprised anyone would bother driving that.
