Pringles - evil or genuis?

Pros - they taste lovley. You get a lot 'chips' for your money. They taste well nice (though I think that point may have been covered). They are also very moreish (again, a point that has been covered)

Cons - Working out from the label I have just eaten over 800 calories from a small snack. They contain "Disodium Guanlate and Disodium inosintae" (which to me, sound like explosives) and worst of all they are made by the evil Proctor & Gamble.

Pringles? Good or baaaaaad?

They can always double up as saddles for miniature horses! (We actually tried this with kittens and and pipe-cleaner jockeys - "Pringle Kitten Derby") ;)

It's just Smash dried into disks and tons of salt and msg added. Hate them. Walkers Salted always, king of mass-produced crips.

I haven't had any for ages, but when I do get them, I'm incapable of stopping eating until they've all gone

I prefer kettle crisps though

Sorry - they're not impressive enough either way to be evil or genius

Horrible. And yet, if you eat one you can't stop eating them despite thinking each one still tastes disgusting. Anything that does that to you can't be good.

Not true

Pork scratchings do that to you, and they're fantastically good for you. According to me, anyway

Doreesotes are a new fangled Yank invention. Kettle chips are not quite dope but they ain't bad..

Erm, Kettle Chips are American too....

I think the clue is in the word "chip" rather than "crisp"

:)

The thing that fucks me off about pringles is i always end up with little cuts at the corners of my mouth.........

or is it just me ?

 :o

I am a massive crisp fan and I think Pringles taste like a dusty tax disc you've just found under the fridge.

:D :D :D

I am working my way through a tube of them now as Tesco has them on at half price.

However, they are the rank Sour Cream & Onion - whereas I like the BBQ flavour which they didn't have.

I think Boing! might be right - I don't like them, but can't stop eating them :(

Plus, just to catch us up with the Americans, the cans are now 35% bigger!

The single best snack in the universe is dipping salt and vinegar Pringles into Total Greek yogurt. Fact.

Doesn't work with any other brand of crisps. Gotta be Pringles. And gotta be salt and vinegar flavour.

Just don't try to work out the combined calory count :o

Like so many British snack foods just horrible. The spice like powdery stuff that's supposed to give them their flavour tastes chemical and nasty and if you have a few they feel like they are corroding your gums.

EVIL!!! evil evil evil - completely fake food, with flavour enhancers... delightful...

still,

I cannot help not-stopping once I've popped... as it were.... so, the only solution, not to pop in the first place :o
