although I've heard Kennedy's in Streatham is very good but it's mainly a takeaway, but hopefully they'd be able to stay warm 'til we got back to Brixton Hill

Olley's is too far away for us to get takeaway and hope it will still be warm by the time we get back to Brixton Hill so we end up in the restaurant

What's wrong with the Sturgeon Fish Bar up past The Telegraph? I've always had good fish and chips from there.

Kennedy's is superb, in fact I'd say it's as good as Olleys for their chips and half the price.

Had a hugely disapointing Sunday roast chicken there [Regent] a couple of weeks ago. Very greasy & stodgy. To the point where I pushed my plate away with a "blugh" after about only half of it, which believe me, virtually never happens.
Couple of others who had the same didn't make it through either.
