Price of Festivals - justify the cost!

Clearly you have to like music.

There's plenty of free/cheap festivals if you just like the festival 'vibe' and aren't bothered about big acts ey? :)

Its almost impossible to justify any festival cost until you`ve been and gone , I can`t put a value on something that is so varied year from year , some years I have had a single day that I would happily have paid £ 150 for , others less so. I have a good feeling about this year .

My bezzer really isn't fussed about music, doesn't do drugs and doesn't like drinking too much at festivals. She is coming back to glastonbury for her 4th year (after a few years break). :eek:

She spends most of her time watching comedy and circus stuff and comes to see the odd band. She has no idea who most of the people on the bill are.

We go through the programme when we get there and I have to sing a bit for each act (that I know) because even if she does like them she will forget that she does. :D :rolleyes:

Hollis had a valid point that you could spend the money on seeing some bands in London and when you wanted to get munted go to a squat party.

:D

Where is Hollis? :hmm::(

I reckon I'd spoend more, plus some artists only perform at festivals.

The O2 + All Bar One, then several night buses to a derelict warehouse in Hackney.

Looking at like that... :D
