preparing for a psy trance party

I was going to say Have a glass of milk before you leave but gem got in before me with her (probably far superior :( ) banana suggestion.... ......

If you're going to be drinking eat a banana, it lines your stomach.

(I never eat bananas or drink glasses of milk myself before drinking btw  :p )

Don't be angry sheo, I only know that coz years ago I went out with a moron alkie(not implying alkies are morons but he was)

(I don't really drink, strangely enough :p)

combine what sheo and gem said in a blender, you cant go wrong with that if its a night out on the old disco biscuits, for the vegan alternative use soya milk with your bananas

The voice of reason* (and allotments)!

I wish i'd have been to the allotment today, the weather has been like a tempramental child today, 'I'll rain on you' and 'now I will stop' 'oh I think I will start again'

;)

I ordered one of these last weekend and it arrived last night...

Would really have liked a proper solid pub bench jobby, but couldn't find anything like that for under £100 and then i found that ^^^ for £25 (including delivery - bargain!!!) and it only took us five million hours to build too (heo largely ignores written instructions and I go charging ahead when I think I've got the jist of things which means we have to re-do everything about 30 times....  )

It's sound though - I almost wished I had homework or some other sort of paper work that'd require sitting at a table.....(but lets not go mad - a pint or two on a sunny day will do! heh heh).....back down tomorrow for another bbq I reckon! :)

They are great those pub bench jobby's I have even contemplated removing one from a pub in the dead of night (no no no) but that one youv'e bought there seems cheap enough so I reckon that benchy thing could be on the cards soonish.

We had lovely weather too - a misty start, but that's not abnormal, but it was muggy as fuck for a while, threatening rain all morning, but we finished building the bastard bench and it was lovely  the small boy got slightly burnt riding a scooter down the hill (in the style of great danger  :D ) even  :( defintely time to get the sun tan lotion out!

Its got that way with english summers nowadays I wish whoever was in charge of the sky and its emissions would stop fuckin us about and either burn us or soak us.

Well that's why I mentioned it - I've been looking hard for a couple of weeks and there's lots of stuff on ebay that's similar selling for £70 odd  or the next level of quality up for a bit more for around £100, which looks far better but I can't do it atm!

Was well pleased to find that - won't last so long, but long enough for the money iykwim.

Lots of really cheap decent (if old) benches on ebay if they happen to be in your area and you can collect though so worth a look first.

My mum came down today though - she's 70 (just the other day!) and although she's still really keen on the gardening, she doesn't fancy sitting on the floor much (what with her hip an all :D ) so (apart from her having to listen to us arguing/conversing ;) :p while we were putting it together) she was well chuffed.

:D @ you and heo!! Putting one of them together is easy peasy.

I guess neither of you are technical/practical like that.

I just bought wood to make a planter on Friday, no instructions, just a picture in my head and a diagram I drew to take measurements from :p They was wanting £40 for something similar and smaller in Argos, to heck with that.

you could buy a load of dance drugs for £40:eek:

I suspect you are just as close to London as I am and I have no inclination to travel that far.

Anyway the planter is double purpose, it'll also act as a barrier between the gardens, so my neighbours can't see my garden clearly :)

The planter I bought the wood for is also going to be a barrier between me and my neighbours, is that clearer?
