Prep me for a Judas Priest concert lol

I gave my verdict in this thread KE. They werent my bag at all and they're old,so kinda looked ridiculous but they had all their props to play with burning record company money so that was kinda cool. :D Megadeth were ace though. Really enjoyed their set suprisingly.

They are great fun, even if you are not really into them. Have a good laugh at the show! :)

One thing, don't do what a former friend once did and arrest them. Only a technical arrest - something to do with the trucking arrangements, which it turned out they owned. They were apparently very nice to him when they turned-up the next morning to sign the paperwork. Then a set of autographs when he told them how much he enjoyed the gig! :D

Aha. Next time give the ticket to me! :D

Megadeth were good? Seriously?! :hmm: That doesn't sound right...

Yeah, Megadeth were good! Exactly what it says on the tin. Thrashy metal riffs, hair, speed with a bit of showmanship without taking themselves too seriously. It was sweaty and fun.

Plus they all looked damn good in their lederhosen. :o

So I found this documentary by chance called 'Dream Decievers - The Story Behind James Vance vs Judas Priest' and halfway through watching it. It's about a guy called James Vance who's brother had blew his own head off in his front yard.

Apparently, the next day, James picked up the same shotgun that his brother used that was still covered in his brother's blood and attempted to kill himself with it. He placed the barrel of the gun to his chin and pulled the trigger...but survived.

The documentary features interviews with him - with this fucked up reconstructed face...it's a fucking horrorshow! He looks like he should be in Silence of the Lambs or Slipknot or something.

Anyway, transpires that old James decides to sue Judas Priest alledging that both he and his brother had been brainwashed by subliminal messages behind lyrics of their songs telling listeners to ''do it.'' :hmm:

Really fascinating case.

3 years after the suicide of his bestfriend (my error, they were best friends not brothers) and successfully shooting his own face off, James hospitalised himself for depression. A short while later, while under treatment James died of a medicinal overdose.

Cause still unknown.

:hmm:

Well eeriy documentary. :hmm:

I recommend it.
