As well as the ones announced at the public meeting on Monday night, namely 9th July home v Colchester United; 13th July away v Marine & 27th July home v Crystal Palace ... Sutton United have announced their schedule & we travel to Gander Green Lane on Tuesday 23rd July.

I understand Marine is still not confirmed in full so don't go booking any trips just yet

At Monday's supporters meeting Ben Clasper stated a clear preference for a 1pm kick off with possibly a second fixture the previous evening, i.e. Friday. I know it's time consuming to arrange fixtures like these and I'm grateful to those who make them happen, but surely it would be best for most supporters if any additional fixture was on the Sunday with either an early kick off so as not to need to take a Friday off work? Do people really need to rush back to London on the Saturday evening? Train journey times are no longer than Torquay or Weston-super-Mare. (Of course it's Marine's anniversary fixture so it also depends upon what suits them.)

From a purely selfish point of view yes!
I'd have to book the Sunday off as well as the Saturday so Friday is preferable.
    Thanks in advance

Palace are away to Bristol City the same day (Saturday 27th July) so I guess it's going to be the CPFC u23's.

We're never going to get anything resembling a Palace first team on a Saturday that close to the start of the season. What if 2,000+ Palace fans turned up? It would be chaotic unless it was all-ticket.

My son's first ever game was a pre-season friendly Dulwich vs CPFC XI. 18 years ago, attendance was a couple of hundred at most

Perhaps Pink Panther is going to sit right at the back of the main stand, which I believe is in England, but rest of the ground is in Wales!

Do they have a line down the stand so you can stand both sides of it and watch a game while simultaneously being in two countries?!
Because if they don’t what the fuck are they playing at?

The main offices in the main stand were deliberately built in England, although much of the ground is in Wales. This was, I believe, to make sure they play in the English pyramid.

For the Crystal Palace game I will be helping organise a 'walk and talk' from Selhurst to Champion Hill. It's 5 miles and we will have a pub/rest stop in the middle. Last season we did Fulham to Selhurst and Selhurst to Arsenal and they were a great success. We hope to do more this year and this will be our pre-season warm up [IMG] It's to help highlight the work of the charity CALM (Campaign against living miserably). The idea is rival fans walk and talk (if you want) to the match together to raise awareness about male suicide and metal health issues.
I'll post more info soon but let me know if you want to join in, more the better, everyone welcome ( more info on twitter @Sitdown_Jim #walkandtalk )
