Pre season 16/17

As I understand it isn't very much per ticket and the club covers it. Which is a very positive move by the club to help fans out!!

Is that necessary when it's easy to pay at the gate with a tenner anyway? (Not having a go, by the way - just trying to understand why the club does it).

The reason the Club does it is simply as a service to fans, making it easier to get into the ground on a matchday, as you can enter the ground with them via the main entrance, I believe. This helps shorten the queues on a matchday.

There is a small cost to the Club, but we do not believe it right to add on a 'booking fee' or similar, so swallow the small cost of the service.

Hopefully Griff &/or liamdhfc can confirm I am correct on this.

I have no news on Matt Drage. He was certainly offered new terms and is one of those I assume wouldn't be able to train in the mornings because of his job.

Yeh, agreed. I'd be surprised if news hadn't got out by now if Drage had gone. In fairness, I can't see Weatherstone in those videos either, so I'm guessing it's not the entire squad.

And let us not forget...some players may not be a training because of minor injuries/twinges etc. Plus one or two may be on holiday...could be a variety of reasons.

I've been approached by a gent from Bromley FC who would like to speak to a DHFC fan over Periscope on Saturday about the "off-pitch revelations over the past 5 years". It is part of a Bromley Periscopecast.

Please let me know if you're interested and I'll ask for more info. Or get in touch with him via Twitter - his handle is: @MashStPaddy.

Would even know what 'Periscope' is...apart from of our players from last season was on this new-fangled social media thingy at all hours of the morning before games last season, apparently! :)

Definitely in my top 3 enemy of the state.
1. Chessington fans
2. Turvey
3. Authentocrat mash st paddy
Surprising...we've not played Chessington before, at first team level, as far as I know. The few times I've been there they've not always done a programme when they should...but not enough for me to agree with your first choice...
Chessington & Hook United F.C.

That club is soon to no longer exist. Kingstonian are going to take their ground and put them out of business and then change their name to Chessington FC. It is known.

Where do you get that from...apart from your usual winding people up? ;)

I've always found them to be nice people at Chessington and Hook FC. The ground (especially the pitch) has its problems, with the most postponements in the Combined Counties League every season. It would take a lot to bring it up to Ryman League standard

The last I heard, Kingstonian were part of the plan to redevelop the Chessington Golf Centre, which is visible behind one end of the Chessington and Hook ground.

Kingstonian forum - however they talk a lot of bollocks in their little clique. I admit they don't seem to have any idea what is happening, but they don't have a problem with being the cuckoo in Chessington's nest.
