I've never had one, although I did once have a Pot Rice in the late 70s.

My mate always eats one after a night out to make her vomit.

Some things I know I don't ever want to taste - Pot Noodle is one of them,

I do, however eat that sort of thing ... Sharwood's microwave noodles are OK-ish in an emergency, some instant rice is surprisingly good ...

Uncle Ben's microwave rice is surprisingly disappointing .. but handy when camping or in a hurry in a stir-fry.

it's all about tesco value noodles, 8p of goodness, make them better by bunging in some frozen veg and encona

I love them - but can only eat them the day after being munted. It's like balancing poison with poison, to make you feel better.

I remember a big load of us all having chicken and mushroom ones the day after a very munty night, and we added a little bit of red wine to them, and called them 'pot au vin' ..

Pot Noodle brand ones are wrong. Decent ramen noodles are ace, though. The Korean ones are pretty nice.

oh I know! Haute cuisine it was. I highly recommend it actually. Just a desertspoon of red wine in a chicken and mushroom one. It's bloody nice!

This thread made me try a sweet and sour Pot Noodle last week.

It was so grim, I was motivated to try the Korean version :-

Noodles in miso soup with seaweed and classy things floating in it.

This is my favourite so far - fish flavour.

Of course they're wrong! That's the whole bloody point!

Unfortunately, as was pointed out last week, they are no longer wrong enough because they've taken out the things that make you grow an extra head and glow in the dark.

Bring back extra wrongness or I will have to eat Utterly Butterly out of the tub with a spoon next time I have a hangover! Bastards!
