I am not posting up any photos of my weed ridden, overgrown, but very small garden. It would only spoil this thread with its beautiful pictures of all your fantastic gardens.

I am impressed.

I bet none of you have got a pond with as many fish, newts and tadpoles in as I have, though :)

(Anyone want any fish to alleviate overcrowding?) :)

All those gardens in different seasons takes me right back to England.

Mine are a bit more tropical style, here the garden keeps growing all year

It doesnt stop growing!

He he thanks moomoo, I have a small hotel/B&B so its not like my private garden though. I got loads more photos I could post as we are redoing our website right now.

Here's one more at night, I like the night shots the best.

Your garden is looking lovely trashy. We can't all have immaculate acreage!! Mine is a bit of a mess, and I'm having photo download problems which is why mine isn't here.

Here's a boring one of the drying green and some shrubs/trees.

Everyones gardens are lovely. I am well jealous of the sorted and larger ones.

Mine is very small so not much room for planting etc.

I shall take/post another pic when I have got flowers on my sweet peas and the peonies are out.

The wysteria is looking so pretty and smells divine atm. Got courgettes, cucs, toms, rocket to get out soon. Then there will be NO room for ball games:D

You need to do this hnt

Your garden looks quite a size.

thanks I`ll try next time .

The garden was what attracted us to the house , which is an old bungalow that is gradually taking shape . Lots and lots of work but its worth the effort .
Several fruit trees which are sadly coming to the end of their days but are slowly being replaced ,the chicken coop is hidden behind the garage , two new chicks bought last month have only just come out of the utility room , bloody fox snatched one already.

Mine is beginning to look quite good:

Particularly the cherry tree which has put on the best show of blossom that I can remember:

The neighbour's building work continues & a big concrete patio & new wall is taking shape quickly. I'm expecting the lest of the space to be filled by the guys cars tho as he is also moving his garage/workshop further back at the same time. :(

It is interesting to see what not cutting your hedge for 4-5 years can do to it!

In the meantime, the cats are liking both the junglieness of my garden & the full-on muddy assault course of his:

Whilst chumming-up to anyone they can:

My New Zeland Flax plant is getting the chop as it was threatening to take-over the place & so-far I have filled 4 brown bins with it. Gard work, as those roots are very solid & need to be hacked-out with an axe. They also "bleed" red sap, which looks suitably murderous.

I will be keeping a bit of it tho. :)

My New Zeland Flax plant

Is that what that's called! We've got some and it's taking over a bit here, too, I don't have the energy to deal with it just now (last week I dug out a huge patch of Monbretia which was taking over the path)

Here's my view from the bedroom window today:

I remain impressed by everyone's green fingers! Not to mention all the energy and effort...

I put some pictures of my garden on the lonely hearts thread yesterday. Best they stay there :)

with ahving the 6 dogs our garden is pretty much just grass, trees and heather. flowers have a short lifespan...

to the left it gets moer woodland like with paths just being cut through the trees and to the right it opens out onto just grass.

we havea nice mixture of trees. Mainly birch but seveal mature Oaks and loads of oak saplings this year. there is also a eucoolyptus tree, some ash, I think a couple of rowan, some big fir trees and aparantly 6 different types of holly. there is also the ever present gorse which is a right pain in the arse but we dont get rid of it all as it gives the wildlife somewhere to go

My children would kill for that garden! :D

Here's our small but perfectly formed garden

and here are some of the plants that live in it: (we just moved in so I can't stop being grateful to the previous occupiers for keeping such a lovely garden)

Garden Plants

We found pots with wild rocket, mint and coriander. :)

Pingu, you have the garden of my dreams! Well, it's more like a forest!
