post up a pic of the wall 'art' in your home!

I have a large framed poster of this in the lounge.

I shall leave dodgepot to post up the other picture we have up in the lounge, as it's his and erm... it's lovely :hmm:
Fabulous!

No, it's some canvasses I painted different shades of red to decorate my home. I can't draw, I can't paint, but at least I had a go at making something.

it looks fab...

i always wanted to have a go at something like that with those really fiddly gold things...maybe i will now.

And this is what our flat is really decorated with:

That's not all the small sheep by the way. Just the ones who are currently hanging out on the bookshelf. That's a Lego Star Destroyer on top there.

Yey! The small sheep! :D

We have a technic lego version of the space shuttle somewhere around.

I remember you doing them. I thought they were fab then and I still think they're fab.

I was going to put up a painting in my living room but then everyone in Streatham would go, 'I know where you live!'

Loads of stuff, but in the kitchen are these 3 pics I did of my cats (took them out the frames to photo because the glass reflects too much)

interesting...i think each stands for one of the four elements (Earth, Water, Air, Fire)

This is some art that is not very exciting but I like it because I made it and I am rubbish at art. Propped up against the wall is a Rothko print that is waiting for a new home.

Like me. :)

You might enjoy these. I did. Tate Paint it Yourself...

I can't paint for toffee, but it's very absorbing and relaxing.

I bought a couple of canvasses afterwards with the idea of transferring an outline image and painting it. It's still on top of the wardrobe.

The missus and I followed that same logic.

Problem is, we chose a lifedrawing class:

The in-laws were singularly unimpressed.

That's really cool! Tate paint it yourself, you say? I may have to look into that.

I think this is brilliant. I have since done some investigating and I'm going to try and get my hands on a print by this chap as soon as I get some money. He's got a great style, just my cup of tea. :)
