I have tentatively broached this subject with Herr Maggott.. anyway... the idea is that Bank Holiday Jan 2nd has all the makings of being a particularly shite day.. I know it was last year.

So the idea is to toddle off into the country and do a walk.. possibly in the 6-7 mile range.

This will involve an early start/trains etc. etc. but thats the point.

If there's any/enough interest I shall recce some provisional planning.. And I get to choose where we go..

i'm going to be walking from the maynard to the tally ho. which is a fair few miles.
