true story: i was at the entrance to the papal apartment once (to the left of the front of st peter's, anyone can stand there), and there's a couple. girl says to guy, 'can we go up there?' guy says 'sure! go ahead!' so she hesitatingly goes up step by step, until she reached what was apparently one step too high, and one of those blokes turned, pointed the pike directly into her chest, and bellowed 'HALT!' she started falling backwards, good thing guy was there to catch her.

One could excuse the clergy for "helping fellow Christians" and "forgiving them their sins" . I don't excuse them myself but one "could".

What upsets me is rampant paedophilia in the Catholic church and the Vatican neither punishing them nor turning them over to the police. That I find "inexcusable".
