Poor dinny cannot catch a break

If the council aren't willing to do anything it's the kind of story the local paper would love to get it's teeth into.

Sorry to hear about poor Dinny :(

Lacing carcasses with poison is a stupid and cuntish thing to do

So sorry to hear this. Please, please do take it to the council if/when you feel up to it; enlist others' support as well if you can, since there are obviously other people who have had to go through similar trauma. All that for the sake of a sign....it's just not ok, at all.

Best to all of you xx

That's awful - really sorry to hear it. If you want to walk Dougal more safely, bring him to the marsh - as it's a nature reserve they're not allowed to use poison.

We often take (took) them to the marsh, it was their favourite place. We are planning on scattering Dinny's ashes there. But most of the time we took them to Bruce Grove as it is just around the corner from us, and the graveyard is just behind it so if we had time and the weather was nice we'd wander over there too.

Is the council being negligent by not warning of the use of poisons such as paraquat?

My heart goes out to you all, that's terrible terrible way to lose a dog. And totally avoidable.

What worries me is that it's happened to at least two other animals and there is no warning notice.

Fuckers.

Seek legal advice.

It does appear that way. We have some investigating to do.

Let me know if there if anything you want found out. I can put my dad on the case too, he's taken on councils before.

I'm so so sorry to hear about this, i've been checking in now and then to see how he was! Please let us know the outcome of your investigations.
