Think you’ll find the ones who tried to force their way in were ticket holders who were refused entry, as the stadium was full. This was because fans with forged tickets and some with no ticket at all had already been let in. Turnstiles might have been a good idea in hindsight.

If I were refused entry to a match whilst holding a legitimate ticket for it, I’d go fucking nuts. Who honestly wouldn’t?

So what about the fans who earlier forced their way in or forged tickets? What about the fans who were nicking tickets out of other fans' hands? I heard there was a lot of that going on.

It's these people who are idiots. Worse, they're scum for robbing their own, posing a overcrowding danger and then banging on about how they should have justice.

Fans nicking tickets off other fans - fans with forged tickets - fans without tickets forcing their way into the ground. Only involved nice lovable little misunderstood scousers - these problems weren't replicated by Milan fans.
