i'm pissed off that lewis hamilton got more votes than rebecca adlington, but at least there's a good winner

awwww she looks really gutted

Im SO delighted. Congratulations Chris Hoy!

Cant help laughing at what his thighs look like in his lovely suit. He's such a beast! Plus you can see his cycling gear underneath! Very Clark Kent!

Delighted for the Cycling Team (Vicky Pendleton did indeed look very beautiful).

One thing- wtf was that ramp about?

Did Chris Hoy just kiss Lewis Hamilton?

Surely not, must have been nutting him....
Chris has been Lewis's bitch all day, so possibly he was just kissing him thank you.

They were both at the Race of Champions event today at Wembley. They were supposed to be racing aagainst each other- man against machine.
Instead Chris punked out, mumbling summat about black ice on the track, and so instead of racing to the death, Lewis drove him round and round the stadium like Noddy.

What ever your preferences a good and deserved order of merit...... Hoy, Hamilton and Addlington....... pity about Ben Ainslie....and team prize... excellent.

who came 4th? I had a small wager on Andrew Murray to finish best of the rest, after the 3 faves who came in the first 3

The show was a load of balls, why didn't they show any of the events instead of all that self indulgent graphicy nonsense? there was nothing remotely interesting to watch, I was expecting Peter Kay to appear at any moment tbh. Glad Hamilton didn't win though and athlete did..rant over

Woohoo, fucking brilliant. Now that wankstain Hamilton can fuck off back to Switzerland.

Great to see the cyclists sweeping all before them, and especially pleased for Dave Brailsford to get the coach award. The guy has masterminded the whole operation since the building of the Manchester Velodrome and, save perhaps very British sports like darts and snooker, nothing can hold a candle to cycling as the sport we excel at the most.

The only thing I was disappointed at was how little Cavendish got mentioned. I know it was an especially packed show and cycling got a lot of time, but surely a few clips of him wasting Hushovd, McEwen, Boonen, et al at the TdF would've been good. He should've been nominated, as should Vicky Pendleton.

The right result. Although I was tempted to vote for Bradley Wiggins who on the night was the one who seemed like he had a personality.

Best bit of the show was Bobby Charlton's award though.
