Thread seems a tad harsh on the guy, he's right in there is a widespread culture of apathy and almost willful ignorance in how politics is perceived. People should also not have been sending him insulting PM's.
People do find it hard to work out how politics affects them, or why it matters, other things seem more important combined with the fact that on the surface they cannot make a difference, especially not a difference by voting in things like the general election. Maybe its because mainstream society is centered on having all to much information dumped on us and sold to us as important, fuck knows.
Having said that the art is a bit meh and the captions are also somewhat pointless and vague. Maybe he should have looked at something like Scene and Heard if he wanted to see how to either make a point or make people more sympathetic.
