Two more of the failed London bombing suspects are believed to have been arrested as police carry out a number of armed operations in London.
A BBC correspondent said they were thought to be the suspected Oval Tube and Number 26 bus bombers.

At least two properties are believed to have been raided, in Notting Hill and North Kensington, and residents moved.

Police have also arrested two women at Liverpool Street station.

The properties raided are in Dalgarno Gardens, North Kensington and the Tavistock Road area of Notting Hill, less than a mile away.

I believe that much in the same way that vehicle and properties are 'sealed off' in forensic operations, so putting someone in a boiler suit kind of retains any possible forensics info (fibres, particles) that may be on the persons clothes, whilst in transit to the torture *ahem*, erm I mean, interview room.

If he's a bus driver is he one of the suspects, or just one of the many being carted off?

Most of the time, in normal circumstances, it is because they have had their outer clothing taken and no other alternative clothing is available.

In some cases (such as many terrorism cases) outer clothing cannot be taken at arrest as there is not safe opportunity and physical evidence is very important so suits are put OVER other clothing to preserve evidence.

In these new circumstances, the stripping will primarily have been to ensure there is no hidden IED (improvised explosive device) though the first also applies.
