police operation in notting hill

on sky, they seem to be claiming that there was another 'explosion' not long ago - presumed by their pundits to be percussion grenades.

their man at scotland yard says police deny anyone has been arrested, and that there's a 21 july suspect holed up in the flat, in a siege situation.

pure specultaion now

which one you watching? sky's feller at scotland yard says police now say they have arrested 'a number of people' in other locations in london.

Sky now saying still no arrests, now police saying it is entering a 'very challenging phase' :suspect still in there and the police are going to get him to come out, as he is refusing to come out.

BBC reporting CS gas/stun grenades has been let off, well, armed officers with CS gas have attempted to break in, or at least been seen going up to the door, bit confused. Police apparently wary that the bomber may blow hiimself - and them - up, as per Madrid.

IT is apprently an immediate response to a tip off, thta's why they aren't doing it at 4am.

More arrests being made elsewhere in London...

Daft tits shouldn't be lobbing stun grenades in if they think there's explosive in there, and I do hope they're properly buttoned down if they use CS.

I'd hate to think of plod getting some of that on their skin, like. It smarts.

Muktar Said Ibrahim, 27, also known as Muktar Muhammad Said, has been named as one of the three.

Police are continually shouting at someone in the flat to come out. They are addressing him as "Muhammad".
- BBC

May be significant, may not.

Arrests elsewhere in London. Not Notting Hill.

Re. Notting Hill: BBC N24
Eyewitness says door blown off Flat 14 at mid-day, that armed police had spent 30 mins calling to the person in Flat 14 Block E Peabody Estate, Tavistock Crescent to ''come out.'' That a person inside did answer and said something about 'having rights' That officers with masks and CS gas may have thrown in CS gas cannisters possibly that was the small 'cracks' initially described as gunfire/explosions

Person inside called 'Mohammed' and asked to 'come out' and 'remove clothes'. And apparently there have been some arrests? But that is still confused. ( From eye witness accounts on BBC).

It started at 9.30am apparently, but news black out was enforced all morning.
