Ok, reviews
2 Bullets - This is pretty ace, I really like the menacing feel from the drums. It sounds like sci fi movie chase music. It does take a bit long to get going for me, I reckon it could do with some tearing amens or something lol
Dave My Mind is Going - I love that sample, I'm a big fan of that sort of thing. The guitar is really good as well, I like how the tune develops as well, quite a few different sections and then they all come together pretty well. This is really well produced as well. The only criticism I have of this is that there are maybe too many different parts for one song. Oh and it needs some tearing amens
Out Tonight - This isn't my sort of music at all, but it sounds like it's quite a good example of this sort of music. I mean it's nicely produced and the pads in it are great. The guy has a pretty nice voice, and the riffs are nice... I think this could be improved by replacing the singing and guitar with some hip hop samples and putting some tearing amens behind it...
'Slovakia' - I really like this tune, great use of the sample and I love your singing style, it really grooves, and the beat makes me feel pissed. top marks. I can't understand the lyrics for some reason but it's just a proper fun sound. Could do with tearing amens like....
Fashion FM - Can't really argue with this tune at all either. Everything about it is just badass. Really reminds me of 2002 electroclash stuff (and that's a very good thing) Very good production values as well, I would actually buy this with real money (If I had any) Looking like the deserving winner
Teenage Kicks - Very silly...I really like the music on this, I would quite like to hear it as an instrumental. I don't like much lounge music, even in an ironic way, but I think it's quite a nice tune and suits the cheesecore makeover
Cuts and Chops - Well I like it You just can't argue with cut up drums and wu tang vs country and western guitar. Not groundbreaking or anything but enjoyable enough nonetheless. I would vote for this one if I were you...
When You Fall Asleep - This one is my favourite, just perfect punky pop just over a minute long. This is how all pop music should sound for my money, angry girls shouting over fast rock n roll, I bet they're fit as well. This is right up my alley and I don't even think tearing amens are needed
Bumblebee - I really like this as well, lovely comedown music. I like how the melodies go in and out of each other. Reminds me a bit of Orbital, just sort of plods along nicely and doesn't really put a foot wrong. I love the lead melody as well. And it's a good end to the song
Rythm and Culture - Hmmm, I think a few of the elements are out of time on this song. I like all of the elements, but they do seem a bit out of time which is a shame cos it sort of make the song sound like it never really starts properly. I reckon this will be good once it's finished...
Flies Were Stars- This tune is really lush, I love the atmospheric pads, and that bleepy sound, it's a bit dubsteppy innit, but it's not as harsh as a lot of dubstep. Yeah I really like this one as well, nice sense of space and emptiness. I might have voted for this one if I hadn't fucked up the OP
The overall standard was very high on this competition. Thanks to everyone who entered

i've voted now, overall really liked pretty much all of them. haven't got time to write a big review at the moment but will just say i'm surprised at the high quality of all the entries, even the ones which weren't quite so much my bag. thumbs up to everyone
