i think i win anyway as mine was the only one actually written and recorded after the competition was opened. i think. the recording was also the first time any of the musicians had played or heard the song and it has never been performed since

The rules never say anything about the song beng written or recorded after the competition is announced. We'd never get anything with live drums if that was a rule, unless someone had a big home recording studio. Ours was recorded after the competition was announced, anyway.

I still haven't been able to listen to the bloody songs, though, because this computer's sound is fucked.
