Please recommend me some music!

Well I think we're way beyond that point... So what do you listen to then?

Right now I am listening to Fela Kuti, earlier I was listening to the Velvet Underground.

I might have something to recommend you when I get back home, but I am out at the moment.

I just really dont like Kate Nash!

Sorry.

:)

no, deadly serious. i don't mess around when it comes to the mighty GA.

i'm trying to think of some sad/emotional electronic music but nothing comes to mind right now. erm...

have you heard of fanu? does quite rattly and atmospheric drum and bass and some down-tempo stuff. some of it's worth checking out, although some of it is pretty...90s. probably not really what you were after :D

I'm extremely bad at distinguishing sarcasm, but Girls Aloud fan or not, thanks for the recommendation! This is somber but still has a good beat. I like it. :)

Hey, you sound kinda nice to me now. I like that! ;) I know we all have different tastes in music, some artists we just plain don't like. For instance I can't stand Sean Paul, but, come on, who can? ;)

i used to violently hate kate nash but her second (?) single grew on me after a while, and made me not hate her so much, and even (sort of) like her first single. her voice still annoys me though :D

i'm so fickle at times.

there are various podcasts you could subscribe to. go to people's blogs/websites. like residentadvisor.net or bleep43.

Probably a bit obvious, but for emotional electronic music you can't go far wrong with the last Burial album. Also earlier Chris Clark stuff, Xela, all that Type records stuff etc...

Did you not like it? :(

Haha, you can't be serious can you? That was the most obscene and disgusting music I've ever heard, well, the worst part was a "music video" that I checked out. Could give you nightmares! Seriously... Do you like that music, sam/phallocrat? It really was NOT up my street anyways.

Not entirely. I do really like his music though, nice and visceral.
