please describe your tea & coffee making facilities to me and do they lay on snacks?

very sore subject actually...

Until before we were taken over by big company we got:

free fruit, juice, coffee, tea, milk and pizza on Friday

as well as having a proper kitchen with fridge, microwave, table...

Once we move we will definetely lose the free stuff (lost some of it already) and we're having to argue for a kitchen/kettle/fridge for christ's sake.

Needless to say lots of people are thinking of leaving because they also want us to dress smartly and we're scruffy bastards and are not prepared to wear anything else.

Get tea and coffee over here.

Get tea, coffee, hot chocolate, juice, herbals, biscuits and toast if we are in an edit or dub and call for a runner :o

Elaborate? :)
If you are over 20 minutes late you have an bring cakes/biscuits/muffins/doughnuts ie latecakes. If you're half an hour late you have to bring cakes from the posh cake shop, stuff with cream in it and chocolatey things. If you are an hour late, you have to phone ahead and take people's orders.:)

free tea, coffee (instant:( ) and hot chocolate, free milk too

no biscuits or cakes though, unless someone has had a meeting and they weren't all eaten...

Might run that one by my manager (who always strolls in at 11.30am!!) :D

free tea

free coffee (instant - caffinated and the pointless decaf)

free hot choclate

free milk - can be used for cereal etc shoudl you wish

free sugar

and thats where the freebies ends :(

we do get free sandwiches etc if you are in a long meeting, but funnily enough they keep them to a minimum...

we do have a fizzy drink vending machine (where 10% goes to the chairty i work for  )

and a chocolate vending machine (where 10% goes straight to your hips)

we also have a small coffee bar in our atrium area, wher you can get all manner of fancy dan coffees, teas, and biscuits (staffed by young people helped by the charity i work for...)

Coffees (or hot chocolate where I'm concerned) are 15p. Can dispenser is 30p.

But due to the nature of the company there are often boxes of free drinks piled up in the coffee room, and boxes of various other surplus food and drinks left in our office to run at and grab.

Sadly I only got an enormous jar of mustard yesterday. But free mustard is free mustard.

We have a pretty good choice, and all free. several types of coffee and tea and all manner of bottled/canned soft drinks. we get biscuits every day and lunch a few times a week.

I don't have to spend any money at all from Mon-Fri in work

We have one of those filter machine things that you have to fill up yourself.

In my old job, we had a tea lady who was very nice :)

Public money so we get fuck all, a water boiler and you have to join a club to get tea bags, instant coffee and milk.

I just bring in my own ground coffe, made in a camping mug (insulated with in-built cafeteria type plunger) and pinch a bit of milk.

I don't really mind but it's shit if we've got visitors, when I'll raid the members' and or tea club stuff. I pay one or two subs a year to keep my conscience vaguely clear.

People are quite generous about leaving cakes and biscuits in the kitchen on their birthday.

We have a huge and very fancy coffee machine that is free. We all chip in for tea and milk.

The seminar room often gets hired out for meeting/conference thingies, which means the caterers come in with too much food, so we all hover about after they've had their lunch and feast on the leftovers. :)

Im temping at this place where there's a water boiler and water pump thingy...free tea, coffee milk and sugar... always peek in the fridge and is always packed out with shit... im just the temp so dont really touch the food in the fridge just in case i infringe on their system.

No bother as i always bring in my own food in and spend the day munching at my desk.

Crap. Nowhere to prepare food, some crappy fridge with bugger all space, an old knackered kettle and a toaster that stinks the place out.

Welcome to the world of Higher Education! :D
