Planet X / Nibiru

If it had been in the north, it would have been seen by people in the north.

If it had been in the south it would have been seen by people in the south.

It wasn't seen by anyone because it didn't exist.

The claim that it couldn't be seen because it was in the south was fucking stupid. As I explained to you in the first place.

And as I said to you, the majority wouldn't, as the majority would be in the north. That's what I was correcting Xes on, and I've said this before I have no reason to answer further.

There was nothing to correct him on. He was right. If it were real then amateur astronomers would have seen it and photographed it.

So a new dwarf planet in our solar system has been discovered that some scientists think supports the theory that Planet X exists...

Extreme dwarf planet – ‘The Goblin’ – influenced by Planet X? – Astronomy Now
Not Planet X though - Planet9 - to differentiate it from nutjob pseudoscience - this is real science.

My own view? Eventually when they've got more data on the "anomalies" that have been detected, that seemingly support a Planet9, they will all gradually be ironed out and there will be zero anomalies and no planet9. Not this time anyway.

Twice that I know of.

Nancy Lieder "predicted" that in May 2003 Planet X/Nibiru (the two appear to have become interchangeable within the Loonosphere) would devastate the Earth and usher in a New Age.

Similar predictions were made for December 2012.

I reckon there'll be another such "prediction" for sometime in the early 2020s. It seems to be a cyclical thing.

I know two people who took DMT on NYE 2012 who now believe the human world ended that night and this world now is run by demons. They seem to function day-to-day (Bristol is full of it, frankly) but full-on conspiraloonery of every kind, including that most humans now live on Nibiru in peace and happiness and only those who deserve punishing remain here - as well as those few kind souls like them who agreed to stay to enlighten us all.

Explains Brexit.

It's actually going the other way. As more data comes in, the case for Planet 9 is only getting stronger. There are now so many dwarf planet objects clustered in similar "perturbed" orbits as opposed to "unperturbed" ones that the probability of this being a coincidence is calculated to be 0.2%.

IMO, it's not a matter of if planet 9 exists but when will we finally pinpoint its location. It's like the period after the discovery of perturbations of Uranus's orbit, but before the direct observation of Neptune (about 3 years in the 1800s)

I find it hard to comprehend how someone can take what they know to be a powerfully mind-altering substance, and subsequently come to think that it's the entire rest of the universe that changes, rather than just their perception of it.

People with such solipsist tendencies should be prevented from taking hallucinogenics for their own good.

I've met a few people over the years who have this view of hallucinogenics - and DMT in particular - that "reality" is only perceptible while you're on the substance and at other times your perception is dulled enough to just get by. There's enough woo around psychedelics that it's easy to get suckered into - and even the serious stuff like Aldous Huxley quoting William Blake gets taken well out of context by some needy individuals.
