Glad I saw this thread – I misread the OP and thought the tickets were on sale next Wednesday

Anyway, we have tickets for the stalls

Tastebud - our tall friend managed to get tix for us - no box unfortunately but seats at all is something we should be thankful for me thinks! :)

Another - "arse! Only just saw this thread" type post.

Oh well! I'm sure I'll find a way to see her if I try hard enough.

It's tonight

No support and she's onstage at 9. Things look quite promising, judging by the setlists for the recent Manchester and Bristol gigs. Here's the one from Manc:

Oh My Lover
Send His Love To Me
Man-Size
The Devil
White Chalk
Dress
Angelene
My Beautiful Leah
Nina In Ecstasy
Electric Light
Snake
Big Exit
Down By The Water
The Mountain
Rid Of Me

Silence
Horses In My Dreams
The Desperate Kingdom Of Love

Angelene – oh yes

I've always liked her but after last night my love of her/her work has grown in leaps and bounds! :)

I've seen her a few times at festivals before but never at one of her own gigs - given the spotlight she shined most brightly :)

So so so talented

Am loving her new higher singing voice on the new album - sounded even better live in the confines of the rfh - 'white chalk' is fast becoming my favourite polly album :D

'Splendiferous!'

Wow... that was special. It was like watching her down the pub or something – the fairy lights round the piano, the cheap disco lights :D And then her music, all stripped down, just her and no one else.

And in between her beautiful singing she was so funny and charming and lovely

I can't write without gushing, so I'll stop.

I actually want to marry her. I'm leaving for Yeovil tonight.

I paid £40 a ticket for that!

;)

It was three lights wasn't it? The four light disco is for the £60 ticket show at the Royal Opera House.
;)

I loved the fact she went to all that trouble, just for a joke. Bless her.
