Pitchshifter!

They were all right, Pitchshifter.

They lost cred and flirted with selling out as part of the Earache records pitch :D for the nu metal market though. Dubwar, Breed 77 and all that underwhelming carry on.

A Higher Form Of Killing is an awesome song (off the thoroughly satisfying Desensitized) but I think Infotainment is where it started to shift :D off track.

Only really know a few tracks from around the time they released 'Genius' - worked for me going to rock clubs as a teen, doubt I'd care too much now *shrugs shoulders*

Used to love PSI, and Tura Satana as a matter of fact. Infotainment and www.psi.com were great albums, sadly, Deviant less so, and the last one "PSI" was godawful. I hope this is a return to form, but I won't hold my breath.

And i'll bet you an obscene amount of money that there's at least one "dubstep" track on the album.

Im afraid I was the biggest fanboy ever lol, saw them at 17 gigs, on stage with the band once and hit J S Clayden in the eye with a piece of paper and made him cry at walthamstow town hall........ So the new album is brilliant news to me.........

Is it me or are a lot of bands getting back together all of a sudden:
Skunk anansie
Pitchshifter
The mighty mighty bosstones
Lamb
Orbital

To name just a few......

I remember liking them when I was 16. I can't say I've listened to them since then though, I don't think I actually owned any of their records but I saw them live a few times and they were pretty good. I imagine their music hasn't aged particulaly well though, such is the nature of that sort of thing...

for my money they've aged a lot better then say fear factory and the other kinda technoish metal bands.

Jason bould has to be the best drummer i have ever seen. The man is metranone(or correct spelling there of) his fills are ridiculous, couple of my mates have had the odd drum lesson from him. which is quite cool.
