All of these things are possibly true. I just think that wherever women work hard to be brilliant in their own right and to succeed in a male-dominated area of life, it's lazy and reductive to immediately respond to an example of that brilliance by making a cheap joke about a woman who is bad at it.

I'm sure all the breakers involved in their one and only Olympic moment are heartily sick of the whole thing being reduced to "Raygun lol hur hur".
