Click on the centre of the photo for fullsize, any crit' would be welcome too.

(I reckon this should be a sticky)

Nice one, Firky, that one is now my on my desktop @ home.

Although I think it would look a bit better if you cropped the left hand side a bit(with the all the white neon signs, the bit before Gap - but then you would lose the nice lights from the cars...)

(I forgot about this thread, maybe it should be a sticky indeed)

That's why I never cropped it too much. I have a load of good photos for wallpapers, I just need to get photoshop to work again as they're all in RAW :(

Got some more

this one looks very surreal on wide screen:

I know some of you guys run dual screens, so here's a bunch in the right format for spanned desktops:

and there's one for regular screens, but it won't let me post that many images. Grrr. It's a pretty waterfall btw.

ah, , Crispy!!!

the geodome (and all the panoramic ones) look quite surreal with the 'squashed up' perspective (got 1280 by 1024 screen resolution)

I've created a set on flickr with what I consider to make good desktop backgrounds here (coincidentally like Lazy Llama's :) ):

Desktop Backgrounds

to get the full-sized version, select the photo you like, then click on the 'All sizes' button for the photo selected, highlighted in red below:

Nice!

I particularly like the icicle one, and the shimmery glass pictures.

My current desktop picture is just plain black with a white Apple logo in the middle, cos it matches the back of my MacBook and I like a bit of symmetry too :D
