Saw Pete in a black cab turning into Morning Lane Hackney last week, he was leaning forward talking to the driver, looking anxious.....The first thing I thought was that he was on his way to score. Of course, maybe he wasn't but it's funny the associations you have innit?

sorry i should relate that to what i've seen mostly. A town in Nottinghamshire called Eastwood where heroin and crack addiction is pretty rife. They can't speak for themselves cos nobody cares about the town, no one wants to know. I feel Pete Doherty represents them in some way!
Unfortuantly its worked out quite bad, but there still humans with love found inbetween! I think its sad everyone turned against him, if he had support from the nation or at least one newspaper he'd make more of an effort to quit. As he see's it (i guess) everyone is against him of 'mature' age. The kids love him cos he's in the papers. Some have there opinions changed by 'mature' aged people, most 'mature' people i've come into contact with have trodden on him as if he's lesser and not worth a life.

I may be underestimating how much he's worked the press himself, but how you ever gonna know. Well, how am I ever gonna know at least.

Maybe i just want him to stay where he is, so that people can see, once again, what that drug does to ya. I've never done it myself, but i have seen first hand what it does. People go on about how things are different now, they aren't that different the way i see it. But his music, in my opinion is worthy of its position! Brilliant bassist aswell!
