I have Issey Miyake and Opium at the moment. I've had an assortment of others too and absolutely none of them smell good on me. On other people they're lovely. I have no way of explaining this since I'm fairly certain I don't smell bad, like my personal smell, but when I put perfume on I smell, well, not terrible, but certainly not like other people when other people wear perfume. And it makes me sneeze.
I love the original and have some of this too - unfortunately i think its a bit of a disappointment - but it sounds like you should be checking it out, they've started stocking it in generic perfume shops now so you may be able to find it easier than formerly.spanglechick said:I wear Gucci Rush, which I adore, and have done for (counts) six years now- though i hate the nasty plastic bottle.
I love the design of the new Agent Provocateur scent "Maitresse", but i dunno what it smells like. anyone?

If it makes you sneeze it might be that it smells great on you to other people but something in perfume/sweat combo offends your olfactories.
Wow! Am skulking off work in a min to find out how much from House of Fraser cos I'm too impatient to wait and order via t'internet. Honestly, I'm like perfume the way other women are like shoes or handbags of stuff.Eau des Merveilles’ juice has notes that include elemi, bitter orange, Italian lemon, Indonesian pepper and pink pepper. There’s also what the house calls an “ambergris accord,” plus woody notes, including oak, cedar, vetiver, balsam of Peru and tears of Siam. Unlike most fragrances, which traditionally only reveal woody and ambery notes at their base, Eau des Merveilles’ are noticeable throughout. And it has almost no floral notes — a rarity in a women’s scent.
